Last weekend Walking Art traveled to Burbank for Creation Entertainment's first charity convention, Salute to Women of Sci-Fi. It was such a pleasure being a vendor at this event. It was a special time! I got a photo op with the the ladies of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as proceeds went to help victims of the L.A fires.
Also, a portion of the money Walking Art: Made By Malissa made at the convention is being donated to three charities - Best Friends, St. Jude's, and National Kidney Foundation.
This convention saw the in-person introduction of two new designs: "Resistance" and "IDIC."
"Resistance" was gifted to Nana Visitor.
