Introducing Something New!!!

Resistance -

This drawing was inspired by one of my favorite characters in all of Star Trek! She was/is a symbol of strength, vulnerability, resilience, intelligence, femineity, and growth. 

This piece had an interesting evolution. I started out wanting to do a bit of an art deco style with the drawing but it didn't capture the immensity of her eyes that I wanted. So, I went back to the drawing board!

On my second attempt her outline was born! 

I then took the drawing and put it on the computer. I cleaned it up. Darkened and thickened the outline a tad. THEN, I did a little something different from my Silhouette drawings. I added COLOR!! 

I hope you enjoy this particular drawing as much as I enjoy the person with whom I took inspiration.
